Richard Hostetter
Mr. Hostetter brings several decades of international business experience to OpenOR. His past work in finance and constructing business to business transactions will help OpenOR coordinate with various missions organizations and business entities.

Keita Ikeda, Ph.D.
Dr. Ikeda worked with Mr. Dunn and others when he operated an ODM company, Digital Instruments, Raleigh NC. He leveraged his technical skills as a programmer to write firmware and software for various design projects.

Dave Dunn is an industrial designer with over 30 years of experience across medical, consumer, industrial, and automotive sectors. As founder of ddID Inc., he has partnered with numerous start‑ups to bring new ideas to market. An award‑winning, patent‑holding creator, Dave blends aesthetic refinement with mechanical and UX depth to craft products that are both beautiful and purposeful, elevating every user experience.

Dr. Keita Ikeda, Principal Scientist of Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia Department of Anesthesiology, founded OpenOR after seeing a greater need for access to surgery in underserved areas. Dr. Ikeda has worked with global health communities in a variety of settings, including the Duke University Global Health Institute, Amalthea Trust, Duke Global Neurosurgery and Neurology, and the Global Partners in Anesthesia and Surgery. Through these experiences, Dr. Ikeda has had the opportunity to work with medical students and professionals across East Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
